The Premise
Brainy Alley is based on the premise that intelligence is
multi-dimensional and cannot always be measured.
Along with academic intelligence and those who excel at sports, it is also the creativity of artists, architects, musicians, dancers, entrepreneurs and others, which enriches our world. Our program provides avenues where children can explore and appreciate the importance of creativity in all that they do.
We also recognize other qualities necessary for success: a “can-do” attitude, persistence, and presentation skills. It is not always possible to teach these skills in a formal classroom setting where subject-matter lessons take precedence. Brainy Alley provides a setting in which each child can explore and enjoy learning these critical skill sets.
